VZ (Vazen) 28mm t/2.2 Anamorphic Prime is specially designed for Micro Four Thirds cameras and Canon RF cameras. Characterized by its front anamorphic design, the VZ Anamorphic prime delivers a buttery smooth oval bokeh, signature blue horizontal flare and the widescreen cinematic look. The new 28mm has a compact design that it can easily be fitted onto a handheld gimbal.
The 1.8x squeeze produces a cinematic 2.39:1 aspect ratio to your image when capturing with 4:3 M43 sensors like Panasonic GH5 and Z-cam E2. It also works very well with the 4:3 1.8x anamorphic mode in Red Komodo. Mild vignetting will be visible in 6k mode. Fully clear at 4k mode. The lens features a fast t/2.2 aperture and 2.7” minimum focus distance, the focus breathing is also minimal . Mild vignetting will be visible in 6k mode.
Despite the rugged design, the VZ anamorphic prime is relatively compact and lightweight. It was designed with the finest mechanical functionality to allow cinematographers to film with ease. The 80mm front diameter and 77mm filter thread allow usage with standard matte box and screw in filters. Independent aperture and focus rings are built with 0.8mod cine gears. The focus throw is 300°.
28mm, 40mm and 65mm are currently available.
Other M43 and RF cameras like Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (BMPCC 4k), Canon C70 can also be used.

VZ (Vazen) 40mm t/2 Anamorphic Prime is the world’s first 1.8X anamorphic prime designed for Micro Four Thirds cameras and Canon RF mount cameras. Characterized by its front anamorphic design, the VZ Anamorphic prime delivers a butterly smooth oval bokeh, signature blue horizontal flare and the widescreen cinematic look.
For the MFT version, the 1.8x squeeze produces a cinematic 2.39:1 aspect ratio to your image when capturing with 4:3 M43 sensors like Panasonic GH5 and Z-cam E2.
For the RF version, the lens is able to cover full sensor HEIGHT of Red Komodo and Canon C70 sensor, delivering a vignetting-free image after 1.8x desqueeze and 2.39:1 crop on the image.
The lens features a fast t/2 aperture and 2.7” minimum focus distance, the focus breathing is also minimal .
