    How do I contact Fundamental AV for Support?

    You can contact us by telephone at

    (860) 946-0698, Monday - Friday, 11 am - 7 pm Eastern Time for technical support.

    You can also email Fundamental AV support through our contact page. Email replies are sent out during business hours in the order in which they are received.

    To ensure that you will receive our reply, please add fundamentalav.com to your safe sender list in your email account settings.

     

    Do you offer remote support?

    Yes! We offer excellent remote support options for clients who own a Fundamental AV system and customers who do not own one of our systems.

    Will my Fundamental AV system work with my audio/video hardware and software?

    Yes. Your Fundamental AV computer is built and designed with compatibility in mind. We have years of experience in building and designing workstations for audio and video production. We understand what is required for you to have a stable, compatible, and powerful computer workstation.

    We recommend contacting us to discuss what current software and hardware you have or plan on using with your Fundamental AV system. Our sales and knowledgeable and have relationships with many of the major audio and video software and hardware manufacturers.  

    When possible, we suggest a customer ordering a new system to send us your hardware and software. There is no charge for up to 3 software or hardware items other than possible return shipping costs. 

    More than three items will typically be $25 per item. Please contact us to discuss this. 

    If you are purchasing any audio/video software or hardware with the system, then these will be installed, activated, configured, and tested whenever applicable at no extra cost.

     

    All Fundamental AV systems are tested and working before it leaves our facility.

     

    Is it safe to connect my Fundamental AV system to the internet?

    Connecting to the internet to download hardware and software updates, but it isn’t recommended to use your custom DAW for everyday internet browsing and email checking.

    However, if you must connect to the internet for general use, you should consider installing antivirus/antispyware software and do backups of your operating system regularly. Using your Fundamental AV computer for general internet usage, although possible, you do increase the risk of causing more headaches than necessary. Without due diligence, this can be costly on many levels in a commercial studio where you have clients projects at risk. This is true of any computer or operating system.

     

    Do you offer Tech Support and consultation for computers that are not fro Fundamental AV? 

    Yes!

    We offer paid support and consultation for systems not manufactured by Fundamental AV. We can help troubleshoot, optimize (as much as possible), and offer advice on upgrades and advice on audio/video gear integration.
