Operating System Options *

All current (March 2022 and later) Fundamental AV systems come preinstalled with Microsoft Windows 11 Professional. 64 bit.
We optimize Windows for the most efficient and stable audio or video production performance.
Options: If you already own a copy of Windows 11 that is NOT being used on another system, we can preinstall it for you. and still offer our lifetime tech support. We optimize our Bios settings for Windows 10/11 only, so other Operating Systems may require different settings. Any change made to the BIOs outside of our settings is not covered under our warranty and support. Please contact us for details. If you are planning to install an operating system other than Windows 10 or 11, such as Linux or a HACKINTOSH or earlier versions of Windows, we can only officially offer support for the 2-year warranty period on the hardware only. Please contact us for details.

Hard Drive -Project or Media Drive M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe Gen 4x4 SSD *
Project or Media PDrive options include High speed, M.2 2280 NVMe 4.0 SSD drives, We recommend using a dedicated hard drive for your audio projects rather than keeping them on your Operating System drive whenever possible. This improves overall drive performance and will make it easier to keep your projects organized and backup methods more efficient.
Note** On Desktops depending on the model adding the 2nd or 3rd NVMe drive will disable up to 2x SATA ports. So on desktops, you will have access to 4x SATA ports max.
DVD-R/W or Blu-Ray Drive Options * Internal and external Multi-format DVD R/RW SATA burner and Blu-Ray R/RW Burner solutions for desktop systems.

The Fundamental AV 13G4060TB4QHD-15 is a laptop designed for audio and video production. It has a powerful Intel 13th Gen Core i9 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB GDDR6 Graphics, and up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM. It has a 15.6” QHD (2560x1440) 240Hz, Wide View Angle, 100% DCI-P3**, G-Sync, Matte Display, and can support up to 4 monitors. It has up to two internal PCI-e SSD drives, Thunderbolt 4.0, and various external optical drive options. It has many ports for audio/MIDI devices and wireless connectivity. It has a 1-year warranty and lifetime tech support from Fundamental AV, with optional warranty extensions.

**DCI-P3 stands for Digital Cinema Initiatives - Protocol 3 and is a color space created by the Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI) and Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineer (SMPTE) to standardize the colors used in the film industry. It is wider than sRGB and can display more colors that are visible to the human eye. When a display is said to have a certain percentage of DCI-P3 coverage, it means that it can reproduce that percentage of colors within the DCI-P3 color space. Monitors that can portray the DCI-P3 color space are getting increasingly common and offer images that look extra saturated with color.
